End of Season Awards - 2013 / 14

At the end of the season all the club representatives come together for the League AGM.

The Charlie Duthie Fair Play Awards are presented to the team in each Division who, as deemed by the League Management Committee have shown the best examples of fair play over the whole season - taking into account, amongst other things, their disciplinary record and referee reports.

This season they were presented by Mr Graham Duthie and League Chairman Steve Catley.

Premier Division winners : Wivenhoe Old Boys

Division One winners : Clarendon

Division Two winners : Marks Tey

Division Three winners : Tollesbury Legion

Division Four winners : Harwich & Wix Athletic

The League Award of Merit, awarded to the person who the Management Committee feel has made a significant contribution to the League, was presented to Mr Ken Salmon, a Life Member of the League who is out every Sunday with Disciplinary Secretary Frank Trunks covering matches and conducting signature checks. Ken is also in attendance at every cup final, working the gate and assisting with refreshments and the presentation of trophies and medals.
