Each year the Essex County Football Association presents awards to a variety of volunteers in grass-roots football across the county.
Up until 2013, one of these awards was presented to the League Website of the Year.
The Colchester & District Sunday League won this award four times; in 2006, 2010, 2011 & 2013.
In 2006 the league received a trophy but in following years the award was a pair of tickets to the FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium with a pre-match meal in a local hotel.
The competition for best league website was withdrawn by the ECFA after the 2013 award - (maybe they got fed up giving it to us ?!)
